Can you please tell me when Optus in Australia starts selling prepaid iphone 3G?

Q. When Optus annouced that they will sell prapaid iphone 3G, I put down my name for an iphone in an Optus shop, but I did not get any call from them, and many time I visited that shop and asked them about iphone but they just said wait. Will really Optus sell prepaid iphone 3G or not?

A. I think they will, but just a heads up, I work at Tandy, an electronics store, and I have had more than one person come in with an iPhone, and they all agree, its HIGHLY overrated, in fact its quite...well...crappy. Sorry mate...its over-priced and under-featured. But again, Optus may sell it. If everyone else does, they will for sure, just watch the competition.

Will Cricket be getting the iPhone 5 and will cricket service be good?
Q. I could get one with any of the 3 main carriers of the iPhone but i saw their plans which obviously they include text and data in which it ranges ( the lowest payment form) from $30 - 40. I dont use text or internet so if i get that plan i would be wasting $40 dollars a month for nothing. With that said, i plan to get a prepaid iPhone 5 at cricket. Will it the service be good or at least fairly good compared to the other main carriers?

A. They will get it on the 28th. As far as the service, not sure.

Does it cost money on an iPhone to use my wifi from home?
Q. I plan on getting a prepaid iPhone and I'm on the internet quite a lot. So, I was wondering will it cost my phone money when I connect to my wifi from home or will it just use the up my wifi's data? Thanks :)

A. No. WiFi is not related to phone billing or GSM connectivity. So it will not cost your phone money.

How do I turn off the internet on my iPhone 3G (not wifi)?
Q. I have a prepaid iphone and all my euros are being eaten up. 9 euro cents per minute when the phone is on.

Herp me Preeez.

:(

A. Go into settings and disable it under General, then the Restrictions menus.
