Q. I hear that people can answer questions you have. Is this true, and if so, is it possible to have my own questions answered by people?

How come no one gets their question answered in the 'Higher education' section?
Q. I've noticed that many people have asked questions in this section, but many are answerless.

A. A lot of people do get their questions answered, the only problems being:
1) This isn't a very popular section. There are a select number of people who like to answer in this section (myself, included - note the top contributer badge in this section).
2) This stems from the last point - since not many people like to think about school while away from it, those select people who enjoy answering in here aren't always online. A lot of questions go unnoticed because no one qualified or someone who cares enough was online to answer it.
3) Some questions are strongly relevant to their personal school, class, or teacher. Sometimes, no one can answer that question unless we've gone to your school or know the teacher. And more often than not, we haven't and we don't.
This just goes back to #2, but - like someone else said - if someone asks a particular question about their major or field of study and no one who knows anything about that is online, it'll go unanswered. Other sections are a lot more popular, and have more answers, as they're either semi-common knowledge or opinion.

A. Whenever Jesus needed an answer, he went within. He counseled us to do the same, as that is where Truth resides.

Your birth date is a vital part of Yahoo's security set up for you and your account, you can not change it. You can not even see it in your account information. If it is really important to you to have it as you want, then you will have to open a new account with the desired information and a different ID name. Hope this has helped
