Q. for some reason i think i remember them saying that the phone insurance doesnt cover the phone if you drop it in water. if not ill probably just say i lost it to be able to get the new phone.

A. I have Verizon cell phone insurance with Asurion and I've asked this question before and the answer is YES, they would cover your claim for water damage .

A. insurance covers everything...doesnt matter if it got broken by something you did (drop in water, ect) or not. Most have a deductible you have to pay though. I have at&t and insurance. If my phone were to break I would have to pay 50 dollars and then I'd get a brand new phone. So, I'm guessing verizon is like that good luck!
