Does anyone know how soon after you purchase mobile phone insurance can you make a claim?

Q. Four years ago, i got a contract phone from the Car-phone Warehouse, the provider was t-mobile and on the same day I took out an insurance policy. Every year afterwards I got an upgrade, I never cancelled my policy and the direct debits continued to come out every month from my account. On the 18th November 2006 my upgrade was a sony K800i, last week i dropped my phone and broke the 'inner' screen, i immediately phoned the Carphone Warehouse (whom I have paid a substantial amount of money to over the last few years) to find out if they would fix it, and they informed me that as I had upgraded with t-mobile i was not covered (and hadn't been covered for 3 years). The money I have therefore paid was for absolutely no reason! I now would like to insurance my phone with a decent insurance company, any suggestions??? How soon after i insure can I ask them to fix my phone??? Any replies would be greatly appreciated.

A. as soon as you activate your phone

A. I have Verizon and I love it. My boss has Cingular and my girlfriend has Tmobile. Both of them hate their providers.

Can you check to see if this list is straight as for most important to least for bill payments?
Q. 1. House + Lot Rent (single-wide on a lot)
2. Car + Car Insurance
3. Credit Card bill
-------------------------------------------------------
4. Luxury expenses (Cell phone, landline/internet, and satellite)

Is this the right idea to go by?

A. Don't forget your utilities (electricity, gas, etc.) for the house.

What should I tell my cell phone company to convince them....?
Q. I broke my cell phone 3 weeks ago and gave it to the cingular store to repair. Its now been 3 weeks and they don't call or do anything about the phone. I've called them a few times and they say they'll call back in 2days or whatever and its now been exactly 3 weeks . What should I tell them so I could convince them to give me a new free phone?

A. Go into the store and talk to them. I worked for Cingular, and I know the store reps wont really care about your problem, unless your buying something, b/c then they make commission. If you have insurance on the phone, call the insurance company and just say the phone was lost and get a new one. I know Cingular's insurance company will inspect the phone if you file a claim saying its broken and sometimes they wont cover it, so just say it was lost. If you dont have insurance, get our phone back from the store, and if your phone can still receive calls, call Cingular to add insurance (you want to make sure you can receive calls b/c Cingular will place a call to your phone making sure you have it and that its working) and if they as you if your phone is damaged, just say now. If your phone cant receive calls, then find a friend of yours who had Cingular, take your SIM card and put it in their phone, so that way when Cingular calls you to see if the phones working, it will ring on that phone. Sorry this is a lot of info, i just know how they work, and they way to get around them.
